William Russell

William Russell is the new Program Specialist at the Behind the Badge Foundation, where his focus is on Law Enforcement Wellness and Law Enforcement Family Support. His background includes work in behavioral psychology as well as time in the funeral industry–experiences that provided him with meaningful insight into supporting individuals and families through challenging and emotional situations.

He joined the Behind the Badge Foundation because he believes first responders and their families carry a unique weight and deserve resources and support they can truly rely on. Being part of this mission allows him to help build programs, expand resources, and connect law enforcement professionals and their families with wellness initiatives that make a real difference.

A Washington State native, Will enjoys hiking, traveling, and staying actively engaged in his community. He is excited to be part of the Foundation and to contribute to work that supports those who serve communities every day.
