A first look at this year’s Jayme Biendl Memorial

A first look at this year’s Jayme Biendl Memorial 5K event shirt. 💙

More than something to wear on race day, the shirt is a reminder of why this community continues to gather each year: to honor Officer Jayme Biendl, remember her service and sacrifice, and stand together in support of Washington’s law enforcement community.

Register to join us January 24 at Sky River Park in Monroe.

Dr. Stacy Cecchet brings years of experience as a forensic and operational psychologist working alongside law enforcement professionals, agencies, and families. At the Law Enforcement Family Network Conference (LEFN-C) 2026, she’ll help attendees better understand how stress can affect communication, connection, and resilience at home, with practical tools families can actually use.

Be there for Dr. Cecchet’s keynote at LEFN-C 2026, November 6–8 in Everett.

Supporting law enforcement families is not separat

Supporting law enforcement families is not separate from supporting officers. It is part of the same work.

When families have access to connection, education, and community, officers are better supported at home and agencies benefit from a stronger circle of care around the people who serve.

The 2026 LEFN Conference is an opportunity for agencies, peer support teams, chaplains, leaders, and family members to help strengthen that circle.

This weekend is designed to create practical conversations around law enforcement life at home and the support systems that help families navigate it.

We encourage agencies across Washington to share this opportunity with officers and their families now, so they have time to make plans for November.

Each year, we come together at the Washington State Law Enforcement Memorial to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to remind their families that their loved ones will always be remembered.

Whether you are a surviving family member, a fellow officer, or a community supporter, you are invited to stand with us on December 4.
