Officer Jackson Lone drowned when he fell as he attempted to secure a drifting tugboat. Officer Lone’s partner immediately dove in and located him. CPR was performed; rescue units transported him to Harborview Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officer Jackson Lone served the Seattle Police Department for 18 years and had been assigned to the Harbor Patrol Unit for five years. He is survived by his wife and son.
