Tim Dietz, MA, LPC

I began my fire service career in Oregon in 1979. During my first 22 years working on “the line” as a Company Officer/Paramedic, I retired at the end of 2008 as the Behavioral Health Specialist for a metropolitan fire district on the edge of Portland, Oregon. I am an internationally recognized speaker on crisis, grief, and staying happy and healthy in the emergency service professions. My career is devoted to teaching emergency responders and their organizations how to serve the needs of emotionally traumatized people better than they may encounter at the scenes of injury or death. I am also dedicated to preparing and providing tools for those emergency response organizations and individuals impacted by the inevitable stress that is an intrinsic part of their careers.
