ABOUT

My approach to therapy comes from the belief that your journey is unique and personal. Everyone experiences life differently and sometimes these experiences place obstacles in our path that make it hard to move forward. My goal is to help you remove these obstacles so you can find purpose and joy in life again. I believe that treating the whole person is an important part of healing; knowing how your body and mind react to stress or trauma helps you recognize warning signs and patterns that cause you to feel anxious, tired, stuck, overwhelmed, or all the above! Trauma can often trigger responses in our relationships that we don’t like or understand. I am trained in a modality called Lifespan Integration that helps the body and mind work through trauma to recognize that it’s over. Lifespan Integration is also helpful for working through grief. I also use Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts affect your relationship with yourself and your environment.
