Caroline Cruse is a fully licensed independent clinical social worker and Washington State Approved Supervisor. She is an Emergency Response and Public Safety Certified Clinician and firefighter wife. Serving in case management and direct provider roles for inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care has prepared her for acute trauma informed work in both group and 1:1 treatment settings. She has worked intensively with children, parents, families, and adults over the years, with a special focus on first responder experiences and related traumas. Her style is direct, humorous, down to earth, evidence-based, warm, and collaborative. She thrives in working with folks who are new to therapy and don’t know what all to expect. In her free time, she enjoys time outdoors spent with her husband, friends, and Bernese Mountain Dog, Alastor. Time spent shooting at the range, fishing, working out, or failing at gardening gives back to her own mental health the most.
