Each holiday season, Behind the Badge Foundation invites surviving families, law enforcement officers, and members of the community to gather at the Washington State Law Enforcement Memorial for the annual Holiday Wreath Laying Ceremony.

This meaningful tradition offers an opportunity to honor the officers whose names are etched into the Memorial, reflect on their service, and stand alongside the families who continue to carry their legacy. The placement of a holiday wreath serves as a visible reminder that those we have lost will always be remembered.

The Holiday Wreath Laying Ceremony is open to surviving families, active and retired law enforcement, friends, supporters, and members of the public who wish to honor Washington’s fallen officers.
